Dustin Chisum,P.E. is the Northeast Florida territory representative for Heyward Florida. Dustin is a highly accomplished Environmental Engineer with specialized experience in water and wastewater infrastructure. Throughout his career, Dustin has built a reputation for delivering innovative, sustainable infrastructure solutions for public sector clients across Florida. His strategic guidance and deep technical knowledge have consistently advanced the long-term resilience and efficiency of municipal water and wastewater systems.

Before joining Heyward, Dustin held key leadership roles. Including Senior Client Services Manager at Ardurra, Associate Vice President of Water at Consor Engineers and as Municipal Infrastructure Engineering Manager at AECOM . He began his career as a Staff Engineer at RWA, Inc., following his academic research work at Florida Gulf Coast University.

A proud U.S.Marine Corps veteran, Dustin served as a Radar Technician and was honorably discharged as a Sergeant in 2005. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from Florida Gulf Coast University and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Florida.

Beyond his professional achievements, Dustin is deeply committed to mentorship, workforce development, and advancing the engineering profession through active involvement in local STEM programs and professional associations. He is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Florida Water Environment Association as a Director at Large and also holds leadership roles with the Florida Section American Water Works Association and Florida Section Design Build Institute of America.

Dustin enjoys outdoor activities including golfing, fishing, shooting and hunting in his spare time. He and his wife of 23 years, Cindy, have two teenage sons, Tanner and Colton.
